On episode 299 we talk about some plans we have for our 300th episode. Plus we talk about some baseball news and you know we can’t let this week’s episode go by without talking ALL about the Coldplay scandal! We give you our thoughts on some things and get ourselves ready to celebrate 300. 

This week we talk about some MLB news and some crazy plays that have happened this week. We also mention a rumor that has been going around regarding WWE and Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights. We also come up with a new segment to highlight our parenting at its finest (or not so finest!) that we bet everyone can relate to! Also, Happy Halloween in July everyone! At least according to every store out there.

This week it’s Greg’s turn to get quizzed! Alex prepared some topics for Greg and he must name 10 of each thing. She asks him a range of questions from brands of cars to Limp Bizkit songs (safe to say that was an easy one for him). Some topics had him stumped while others he knew surprisingly well! In this week’s episode, we put Alex to the test… the name 10 test. Greg introduces a brand new topic game episode where he asks Alex different categories and she has to list 10 things from each one. This week we talk about some more random topics! We mention our trip to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and how they have a new addition to their kid area that is great. We also talk about some sports related news (while we are watching the Mets game live) and let you know that warped tour will be back next year… once again NOT in New Jersey. We also talk about a good friend of ours, Lauren, who has a wonderful pet sitting business and how she is the one to call whenever you need to board your dog! Welcome summer with us and enjoy this one on your way to the beach! 

In this week’s episode, we go back over 20 years to…The Starting Line! Greg and Alex deep dive into one of their favorite bands. From the early days of Winnie the Pooh at Bamboozle and Birch Hill to Pooh Bear singing The Starting Line at their wedding. Alex talks about how TSL was her first concert with Greg and it being her first experience seeing his Pooh Bear persona. They talk about it all from how the band shaped Greg to who he is today, all the way to them bringing their girls to see them in concert. Give this one a listen as we go back to 2/12/99 as this episode shows us that we may have gotten older, but we’re still young!

This week we talk about our upcoming Starting Line concert (which is the night we release this episode!) and how we will be meeting some new friends there as well. We also talk a little about some sports and WWE news. Greg tries to trick Alex with a not so well thought out joke and gets caught before he even says the punch line! This week we talk about what our previous weekend plans ended up being and why Alex hates (yes, HATES) one of them. We also talk about some random stories we heard recently. We also mention how Greg is being hunted down on social media for his Poohbear persona which some believe is actually an urban legend (that’s how old he is!!) but regardless, it brings them some nostalgia. 

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! This week we have yet another random talk about not so random topics. We talk about the Knicks being in the playoffs (while we watched game 1 of the ECF - BEFORE the Knicks decided to have a meltdown) and how the Mets are in 2nd place now. We also let you all in on some of our plans coming up like The Starting Line concert on June 6th. As well as our lack of plans for this holiday weekend, although we now have plans for each day. Spend your Memorial Day giving this one a listen, and hopefully it is somewhere more comfortable than how Greg spent his night from when Alex locked him out of the house!

Happy Birthday! This week we celebrate our girls turning 4. We let you in on how we celebrated the day (even the chaotic parts!) We also talk about some past birthdays of ours that were pretty memorable. From skydiving right after playing softball to going to Disney World and breaking some stuff in a rage room. We also wish every person out there a happy birthday in a very “Greg and Alex” way.
