Dec. 28, 2024 ~ Damon West grew up in Port Arthur, Texas and earned a BA in psychology from the University of North Texas while quarterbacking their football team. After getting addicted to crystal meth, he became the Dallas uptown burglar. From 2009 to 2015, he served a prison sentence for organized crime. Today, he's a world-class inspirational speaker and an example of with God, anything is possible.

Dec. 21, 2024 ~ Monsignor Thomas Rice grew up in Allen Park, Michigan, and earned a Doctorate in Ministry from Saint Mary’s Seminary & University in Baltimore. In 1977, he was ordained a priest, and from 1990 to 2014, he was the Pastor of St. Louise de Marillac. From 1999 to 2012, he was also the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Catholic. Since 2014 he’s been the Pastor of St. Thomas More Parish whose mission statement is to know Jesus, to love Jesus, and to serve Jesus.

Dec. 15, 2024 ~ Kevin Rinke grew up in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan and earned a B.A. in Advertising from Michigan State University. In 1983 he joined his family’s business, Rinke Automotive Group, the oldest General Motors dealer in Michigan. From 1988 to 2003, he was the president of the Rinke Automotive Group, and from 2009 to 2014, he was the owner of Cassell & Associates which operates two traumatic brain injury centers. In 2022 he was unsuccessful in his run for Michigan Governor.

Dec. 7, 2024 ~ Matt Simoncini was raised in Detroit, and in 1999, he joined the Lear Corporation through their acquisition of United Technologies and eventually became its CFO. From 2011 to 2018, he was the president and CEO of Lear Corporation, a global automotive technology leader in seating and E-Systems.

Nov. 30, 2024 ~ Roy Lee grew up in Milwaukee, and earned a Master of Divinity at St. Francis de Sales. In 1986 he was ordained a priest and since 2007, he has run a homeless ministry, street ministry, and jail ministry in the Atlanta area.

Nov. 23, 2024 ~ Steve Kiefer grew up in Livonia, Michigan, and from 2011 to 2013, he was the president of Delphi Powertrain. From 2014 to 2019, he was the vice president of global purchasing for General Motors, and from 2019 to 2022, he was the president of General Motors International. Since 2022, he has dedicated his time to The Kiefer Foundation, as its chairman and founder.

Nov. 15, 2024 ~ Judge Patricia Perez Fresard was born in Quito, Ecuador, and came to Detroit at the age of 3 with her family. She earned a BBA in Business Administration from Western Michigan University and a Juris Doctor of Law from Detroit College of Law. From 1999 to 2023, she served as a Wayne County Circuit Court judge before becoming the chief judge of the Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan, the largest circuit court in Michigan.

Nov. 8, 2024 ~ Judge Gerald Rosen grew up in Oak Park, Michigan and earned a B.A. in Political Science & Government from Kalamazoo College. From 2009 to 2016, he was the Chief Judge of the United States District Court, when he served as the chief judicial mediator for the Detroit bankruptcy case. It was the largest, most complex municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history, which resulted in an agreed upon, consensual plan of adjustment in just 17 months.

Oct. 19, 2024 ~ Our guest this week grew up in Detroit and Chicago, and earned a B.A. in Journalism from Marquette University. From 1995 to 2018, he worked for the Chicago Sun-Times and then the Chicago Tribune. Since 2019 he's been the Development Director of Word on Fire Ministries, which is a ministry that draws people into or back to the Catholic Faith.
