Dec. 30, 2023 ~ Shannon Breamand grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and earned a B.S. in Business Management from Liberty University and a J.D. of Law from Florida State University. She was Miss Virginia in 1990. At 29, she decided to try a career in broadcasting. In 2007, she joined Fox News as their Chief Legal Correspondent, and she's been the host of Fox News Sunday since 2022.

Dec. 23, 2023 ~ Joseph Coffey grew up in Pennsylvania, earning a bachelor's degree in English and French from LaSalle University. He worked as a grade school teacher, ski instructor, and in the automobile industry. In 1996, he was ordained as a priest. In 1992, he entered the U.S. Navy Chaplain Candidate Program, becoming a full-time Navy Chaplain in 2001. In 2019, he was named an Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of the Military Services

Dec. 16, 2023 ~ Phil Southerland grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at seven months old. Doctors told his mother he would likely be blind or dead before the age of 25. Since 2012, he has been the CEO and co-founder of Team Novo Nordisk, a partnership between Novo Nordisk and Team Type 1 to represent the Changing Diabetes platform and to show the world what can be achieved when people take ownership of their diabetes.

Dec. 9, 2023 ~ Kelly Wahlquist grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota, earning a B.S. in biology with an emphasis on genetics from St. Mary's University, plus a B.A. in nursing from the College of St. Catherine. In 2015, she founded WINE, Women In the New Evangelization. WINE is a women's ministry that invigorates Catholic parishes through inspiring, supporting, and nurturing women in the faith and by equipping and mobilizing women as intentional disciples of Christ.

Dec. 2, 2023 ~ Mitch Albom grew up in Philadelphia, was an amateur boxer, a nightclub singer and pianist. He became a writer and has been voted the number one sports columnist in the nation 13 times by the Associated Press. Albom was a panelist on ESPN's "Sports Reporters" for 26 years and is the author of 12 books including "Tuesdays With Morrie," and his latest book "The Little Liar." He has written 3 plays and hosts "The Mitch Albom Show" here on WJR.

Nov. 25, 2023 ~ Mike Schmitz grew up in Brainerd, Minnesota and earned a degree from Saint John's University. Ordained a priest in 2003, he is the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth and the Newman Center Chaplain at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Known as the "Podcast Priest," his podcast of "The Bible in One Year" is the #1 ranked podcast in the world.

Nov. 11, 2023 ~ Paul White grew up in Midland, Michigan, and owned Roth Cleaners from 1992 to 2021. Since 2021, he has been a nationally syndicated columnist published in 22 publications and focuses on offering a positive perspective in his writing.

He is the author of "The Answer Discovery - How to Change the World by Helping Others and Ourselves."

Oct. 28, 2023 ~ Klint Pleasant is the head basketball coach at Rochester University, a private Christian college. He and his father, Garth, combined are second in winning the most basketball games in history.

Oct. 21, 2023 ~ David Curtis grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, earning an AB in Economics and American Studies from Princeton and an MBA in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan. Since 2005, he has been the President and CEO of Residential Home Health and Residential Hospice, a subsidiary of Graham Holdings Company and specializes in partnering with health systems, hospitals, nursing facilities and large physician practices in reducing post-acute risk.
