AO Podcast

In this episode Don McDonell & Lloyd Passey join us on an amazing podcast. We fast tracked this episode to get it out before Don and his wife Julia speak on the weekend at Peak Vision.

Don is a pastor at Inspire Church (Auckland, NZ) and speaks throughout New Zealand and the world.  A big thank you to Don and Lloyd for taking the time to join us.

Thanks for listening!

Join in the conversation with Kent, Greg, Marc and our two guests, Tom & Atu. We talk about music, finding our place within our lives and the direction we take. We also talk about movies and bank fights.

Tom is an amazing human because he's Tom. However, he is an extraordinary drummer; he started drumming when he was 5yrs old. Tom plays an integral part in Peak Youth and is an avid hunter. He is doing a double major through Victoria Uni.

Atu is also a fantastic human, just because she's Atu. An accomplished singer, musician, bass, piano, guitar, and low key can play the drums.

Tom & Atu are songwriters, and we talk through what goes into songwriting, the thoughts, emotions, lyrics, and making it vibe.

A big thank you to Atu & Tom for joining us on this episode.

This episode is a part 2 to S02 E010 - Full Send Life, if you haven't listened it would be worth listening to e10 first. In this episode we talk anxiety, the importance of opening to up people around us and pushing one's self go further than before.  You were born for so much more.

We thank you so much for taking the time to listen.

Just a heads up: The podcast mentions a song that we did not want to mention, so you'll notice audio changes part way through the recording.  At the time of the recording, the host didn't know in full the meaning or other lyrics mention in said song.

Sometimes it can be awkward meeting new people. Sometimes we are just awkward.  We talk about breaking the ice with new people, which we call the polar bear maneuver.  We share our own weaknesses and the ways we overcome them.

At the start of 2022, we spoke about our word for the year: ' courage'.  We carry on the conversation as a reminder that in our world, we still need to take courageous steps, no matter how small they are.  We hope this conversation encourages and helps you on your life journey.

We had finished one podcast and got to talking, so we switched the mics back on.  This is a snippet talking about investing your time and building community.

In this episode we pick the conversation up from a tagline that was used in a video for one of Marc's clients.  From there it blisters with motivation for living a life beyond our default setting.

Hi Marc here, I hope you are well.  With this podcast I didn't want it to come out, as I dribble a lot in this (apologies).  In trying to hammer out the details of life and determine my (and our) defaults it took a lot longer to discuss. We got there in the end. In some way I hope that it inspires you.

A question for you... what is your default and how do you overcome it? I'd love to know, you can message on insta @allone.nz or email [email protected].

Again thanks for listening.

In this episode we pick up from the previous podcast about goals, books we are reading in 2022 and creating more resource.  We hope that we've inspired you to chase after that dream or maybe start that business idea you've had for some time.
