I will like to share a song by kaestrings titled "Do a work". Very beautiful and powerful sound. You know. I will let you find out by yourself as you listen 👂 I really can't type it, the power is in the song. Do a work in me, it's more a prayer than a song, maybe I should call it, a prayer song.

So I chose this song to share with us because we live in the days and time where the Lord is choosing and refining his army. A people he will use for his glory. This is a powerful song I came across between last 2 years, actually the singer, kaestrings is my favorite gospel artist because I have passion for the guitar and also for gospel music. The song was so soothing and sweet. Oh my, it'sy heart cry always. Because I always see myself doing what I don't want to do. I discovered that it's a nature issue, it is a problem of nature and so this song aligned so well. Do a work in me, purify me till I am all they see.

It can never be enough, it can never be finished until Christ is formed.

Hello Everyone, my name is @aowilson and this is my enty for Afri CHRISTMAS volume 4. First of all i want to give a shout out to my boss and omboarder @ovey10 who happens to be the pioneer of his challenge.Thank you sir @ovey10 for this opportunity to join the Afri-Christmas contest with other musicians.

This week we explore a theme named: Christmas Songs. As we reflect on the theme for this week through various songs covers and song entries, may the Joy of Christmas fill our hearts, may the various songs give us peace that come with the season. The Joy and Peace of the season stays with us in all ramifications, we will not remain the same ever and ever again.

So I am exploring this week using songs of gratitude. I love Hausa language

This week I will be doing another cover song to share with you, a song composed by Pastor Theophilus Sunday. The title of the song I will be doing a cover for is The Lord our God is the mighty man of war. Pastor Theophilus Sunday is a seasoned music minister based in Lokoja, Nigeria, he is fond of singing most songs as chants and he's full of new songs, this is just one of his many songs but this particular song is not too new, though I do not know when it was released but that is not even the major concern, the problem is for you to enjoy it right? So leggo 😌

Reason for choice of song

So why did I chose to share this song with you this week?

I came across this powerful clip of the song last week on a friend's Whatsapp status and I went to go and look for the song, came to discover that the song is really something to listen to. The song cannot be over emphasize as it truly is self explanatory, the message is very very very clear and not hidden. The Lord is the man of war, he's a warrior. I choose to be a subject of a warrior who fights with fire.

Pastor Solomon Lange is an Hausa music minister based in Abuja, Nigeria, he is fond of singing most songs in Hausa language, but this particular song is in English, I just cut part of the song to share with you guys. This is a powerful sound that has gone really viral and has blessed lives across Nigeria.

Reason for choice of song

So why did I chose to share this song with you this week?

I just want to do something simple, so I decided to do a chant. Just a repetitive song for us to enjoy and vibe to.

It's a declaration and I will beg us to sing along if we can, he is our Messiah, he's our savior, he's our Lord, our healer, our Messiah. We must be intentional about declaring it because we can't be anything if we don't confess. Weust always confess and declare what we believe with our hearts, he is Messiah and Lord of all.

My interpretation!!!

This week we explore a theme named: The Return. As we reflect on the theme for this week through various songs covers and song entries, may we return to the place of glory, may we go back to the holy place, may we return back to God, to his presence which is very paramount in our lives, may we not leave him, we will not shift our gaze on him, may our gaze return to the lion and the lamb, the holy one of Isreal. We will see the glory of God!!!

So as we return to him, this song is a perfect one to behold and see the theme. A solemn moment where God works on us, every gaze then returns to the lion and the lamb. We must keep beholding, most times we shifted our gaze , most times we shifted attention, most times we shifted focus from God.

The glory has departed from us, and in a bit to seek the glory again, we pray, we speak words, please, that Lord should return to us. When the glory comes, there will be no words to say...there will be no words to say, there will be no words to say. Lord show us your glory, show me your glory, take me to the place you are, Amen.

Music Zone Song Challenge phase 2// We Bow Down By AO WILSON.

Hi everyone, how do you do? Greetings to you all and good day too. I am @aowilson and I am hoping in for the song challenge, it is with so much excitement that I will be doing this , yunno getting to share your craft, not just covers but am original art, an original song, I believe it will be amazing, and you will find t interesting.

So the title of my art that I will be sharing, well, I just gave t a name because of this challenge, prior to now, the song has just been there, I sing it but I've not paid attention to working on the song to even say give it a name, so in case I get to record the song in the studio one day, the name may actually change, the name may not be permanent.

So a little background on how I wrote the song, it was on a faithful day, I woke up like every other morning, and of course, started the normal days activities. I was to go to farm that day and you know those days when you feel God drawing you close to him, for fellowship, those days when the Lord wants to show you something new. It was one of those days, but it was very important that I go to farm. So I decided to take my guitar along with me to the farm, so weird yeah? Yes, very weird, I took my guitar to the farm. So after doing what I was supposed the do for the day, It was time to sit and guard the farm against Fulani cows who enter to eat our crops. I now took my guitar and began to just play and sing. Can you believe that, for over 40 minutes to 1 hour, I was just singing songs I've never heard before, It was so beautiful and amazing. This song was one of the many songs I was singing that day. I had a very good experience.

I know that with time I may share some of the songs with you guys here by for now, please enjoy this piece of me😇😇

This week we explore a theme named: A DIFFERENT WORLD. As we reflect on the theme for this week through various songs covers and song entries, may God visit us, may we experience Christmas, even in this month, the month of his birth, as he comes, he comes with his peace to us. May we experience the peace of God even through the various songs covers and song entries.

Can you believe that I had already made a choice of the song I will share with open mic before checking the theme because I this season we really need the visitation of Jesus, the prince of Peace. We need peace in our lives and for a fact that this is Christmas season where Christians celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus, the prince of Peace, we will experience his visit, he will come for us in this season.

So I am singing MARANATHA... maranatha is a cry calling on Jesus to come, COME JESUS COME. It is the cry of the spirit and the bride. From our hearts, we will cry maranatha. The visit of God is very paramount and a dire need to us in this season if not we will just celebrate Christmas and not experience it.

I will be sharing a cover of a song of wai ya fi karfin ka by Minister Kespan Yaron Zaki. I want to first begin with gratitude to this wonderful community for your wonderful and unwavering support. Each week comes with it's own unique and dynamic rhythm and beauty of rhymes. There is always something new to unravel every week. An opportunity to display and to showcase hidden beauty that we carry in our inside through music entries. I appreciate the efforts of the admis and moderators for this weekly opportunity, thank you.

So I sang a Hausa song again. This one was sung by a Jos breed, Kespan Yaron Zaki!!!! Very humble minister of God, his songs are really a motivation to me, I've doing a lot of following his style of music and it's a rare kind of style.

In this song, he declares Jesus Christ the Lion of Judah as the strongest he has ever seen. There is no one stronger than the lion of the tribe of Judah, the agaba idu...no one compares to him in anything, he's all powerful. So I did something unique to the song, he sang it in Hausa but I did an English cover and added it since it's my cover, I can choose to dynamize it as I like, which I know you will love it too.

My interpretation!!!

This week we explore a theme named: LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. As we reflect on the theme for this week through various songs covers and song entries, may God visit us, may we experience the true love of God, may we not miss out of the true meaning of love that comes from he fountain of God. May we see that which will cause us to fall in love with Jesus!!!! Amennn!!!!

My choice of song came very strategic, and someone may be asking quietly in their heart how does love at first sight connects with the washing away of Sins, but I tell you brethren that it actually does connect. When you discovered that all your sins have been washed, all your offenses have been forgiven, they are no longer counted, they are no longer regarded. You who was a criminal is allowed to walk freely in the streets. Without any guilt.

You see the blood doesn't just wash the sins, but the guilt of the sin. This is love. And my interpretation comes with the call to respond to this much less love, this love that we don't deserve. When you see this, you have to respond to it!!! That's LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!! WE MUST RESPOND TO THIA LOVE AND LOVE HIM BACK!!!
