Gordy Sisson has been in the public education profession for 41 years. Beginning his career as a teacher he made the transition to become an administrator where he could have a more macro effect on the student body as a whole. “What makes Hersey High School so special is the students and faculties mindset of “Service over Self” attitude,” Gordy says. Gordy is proud of the work his school and kids do houseing the special needs kids of today. If you didn’t know Hersey provides the education for all special ed students in district 214.
