George Perry Floyd Jr. was an African American man who died during a police arrest in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25, 2020. Protests in response to Floyd's death, also with a broader focus on police violence against other black Americans, quickly spread across the United States and internationally. May God bless his soul and grant his family peace.
