Khurshid Khoja speaks on the injustice of the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII and the continued struggle against racist scapegoating and Assembleyman Warren Furutani shares his personal history in the first pilgrimage to Manzinar and the bill he introduced, and which was passed last year, getting college degrees to Japanese Americans who were denied them because of their removal to US Concentration Camps.

Victoria Law, author of Resistance Behind Bars: the Struggles of Incarcerated Women, spent nine years researching this book which talks of the often ignored injustice of women's incarceration and provides us with examples of their organizing.

We will also hear a brief reminder of the upcoming Asian Law Caucus fundraising dinner from Peter Swing as well as a call of support for Mumia abu Jamal from Yuri Kochiyama.
