This week, we welcome guest DJ Alex Abalos from electronic band Secret Sidewalk. Alex talks about the band’s trip to SXSW and shares songs from his collection of rare Asian funk, noise, and electronic music from the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, and the U.S.

As digital media facilitator at the Vietnamese Youth Development Center, Alex exposes youth to beat making and music mixing. Trillin is one of the youth who has gone on to create his own music and videos.
