Drag Queen Story Hour was created in San Francisco, and people have started organizing their own events there, in New York, in Los Angeles and even here in Wisconsin.


According to the organization, "Drag is an artistic way of expressing yourself and showing the world different parts of who you are and who you want to be." At drag queen story hours, people who dress in drag lead the story time and work to educate kids about gender diversity.

Milwaukee mom Edie Pasek is working with the Milwaukee Public Library (MPL) system to organize MPL's first drag queen story hour, which will take place on Saturday, July 14. MPL's youth services coordinator, Kelly Wochinske, said, "We want Milwaukee Public Library programming to reflect the community we serve and to be inclusive of all the families that use our libraries."

Talked to a republican insider and we had a very good conversation and them and I believe The attacks on Terry Dittrich from Jessica McBride are actually coming from Brian Schimming, who sees Terry Dittrich as a threat to his chairmanship given his fundraising capabilities and his success winning local
races in Waukesha County.

Schimming is using McBride to attack conservative activists Schimming doesn’t like, which are people like Terry Dietrich and Ali Schweitzer.

Obviously these are opinions, you never know. The attacks on Terry and knowing how close Brian, Jessica and Jim are I really am questioning the authenticity of going after Terry and Ali.

Terry fundraises well, and that's necessary. I said I was done with this shit.

I don't like talking about Jessica and Jim, he infuriates me. But I talked to someone who he is close with and that person told me his thinking, and I shared my thinking.


Then the big dog texted me and co signed Paris saying to ignore the noise.

After another losing statewide election in Wisconsin, it seems that the WISGOP should change its slogan to ‘Celebrate Mediocrity’ to keep things honest. The Republican Party of Wisconsin has been spiraling since Reince Priebus left as Chairman to take over the RNC in 2011; only now, it seems, we have hit the iceberg dead on and are taking on water, big time.

Even with recent changes, the party shows that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS CHANGED. This should be no surprise since Brian Schimming, the new WISGOP Chairman, comes from the Madison ‘swamp’ and was anointed with little to no input from Republicans statewide. Why should anyone expect results to be different? Here we go again!
