Donald Trump, who said two weeks ago "the temperature has to be brought down" in this country, is raising it to heights that would burst the thermometer.

He’s gone on what we would call an angry tweetstorm, if he was still on Twitter, pumping out three dozen postings and repostings on his far smaller Truth Social app.

One of the repostings was from Q’Anon, although the former president may not have realized that.

But more stunning than Trump’s attacks on Joe Biden – pictured as if he had soiled his pants – RINO Republicans and of course the Fake News Media is his sudden embrace of what had been the fringe-iest of fringe positions within Trump World.

Does it seem like we have lived a 4-year presidential term in just 18 months? Does it feel like time is slowing down as the amount of liberal ‘wokeness’ just continues to steamroll across the country at a phenomenal pace? When President Biden was sworn into office the major messaging from the administration was that the “adults were back in charge”, that we had a cool operator with his aviators that would unite a fractured country that had been through a tumultuous time of darkness after the 2020 election and the January 6th protest. President Biden used the words “unity”, “together” and “as one” 19 times during his inaugural address to the nation. How did this all go so wrong so quickly?


Election integrity issues aside, the main motivation for the left to vote for a candidate, any candidate was that the “orange man” was bad, he did not hold true to the decorum of presidential manners, and he was too rough around the edges for the people. From the moment Trump came down the golden escalator to announce his candidacy both the Left and the Right have publicly and privately fought him every step of the way. Trump still holds the dubious honor of being the only president in history to be impeached twice and the only one to beat the impeachment process as many times. The beleaguered 45th president was getting it from all sides from the people who just wanted things to go back to normal after all the stumblings of the global pandemic. Once you sprinkle in the beatification of St. George Floyd and the “mostly peaceful protests” of the summer of 2020, the country was at a tipping point and those who knew could see the change coming.
