On this weeks podcast I am joined by my good friend and the 2020 Grand National Owl Hooting Champion, Mr. Scott Ellis. Scott and I have an in-depth conversation about many advanced turkey hunting tactics. Scott shares some of his proven dynamite turkey hunting techniques for several challenging scenarios, that hunters face each and every spring. This is a podcast that you need to listen to from start to finish!

This week I am joined by the editor in chief of Realtree.com, Steve Hickoff and we chat about mentoring new hunters. Hunter numbers are currently on the decline, and there is no better time to introduce new hunters to the sport than now. Steve has the opportunity to mentor many new hunters every year, and he shares with us how to give new hunters an unforgettable experience.

A few weeks ago I had the great fortune to sit down and learn from one of turkey huntings legends, Harold Knight. Harold shares with us tips, tricks and tactics that he has learned over the course of his career in the outdoor industry. Harolds knowledge can save a beginner and experienced turkey hunter alike, agony and frustration.

This week I am joined by my friend, Doug Bauer of Saint Marys, Pennsylvania. Doug shares with us his upbringing as a hunter, and how his hunting heritage shaped him to be the man he is today.

This week we are joined by Smokey McNichols, and he shares with us his knowledge of how to use deer lures properly. One of the areas that I never paid as much attention to as I should have, was the licking branch. Smokey has a very simple, but effective strategy that he uses to make them realistic. Adding a drag rag to your pre-rut and rut hunts can help to lure a buck into your stand.
