Apollos was catechized in the Scriptures and learned them well. He was a gifted speaker, zealous for God, and not afraid to proclaim man's need for repentance. He was also humbled by the full revelation of the Gospel, so that God would use him greatly for His Church. May God be pleased to raise up more men like Apollos in our day, and even in our local assembly, for His people and His glory.
