Spike Psarris was previously an engineer in the United States’ military space program. He entered that program as an atheist and an evolutionist. He left it as a creationist and a Christian. Spike has a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and has done graduate work in Physics. Today he speaks on creation/evolution, especially as it relates to astronomy, and has published three DVDs on the subject.

Curiously, the same manner of burial is seen in the ancient sedimentary rock record, except there, the sedimentary particles include dinosaurs, nautiloids, logs, and ichthyosaurs. Earth’s rock record is unspeakably violent; a fact that is constantly understated by Christian and non-Christian alike. Sedimentologists struggle to fit such data into the “slow and gradual” model they are asked to profess. Come and see how Mount St. Helens continues to be the best open-door for rational discussion for a recent creation and a worldwide flood. The speaker draws from personal field experience at Mount St. Helens, Grand Canyon, and elsewhere. Bill holds a B.A. in Geology from the University of Colorado – Boulder, a M.S. in Geology from the Institute for Creation Research Graduate School, and a 7.5 year background as a professional in the petroleum industry. At age 28 he found not only new life in Christ, but also a revolution in his understanding of earth history. Trained to interpret fossils, tectonic plates, radioisotopes and the data of geology through an evolutionary grid involving vast millions of years, in Christ he discovered a new freedom to question this grid, and he found it wanting. With help from others, Bill was able to “save the phenomena” (the facts of science) in a way that, rightly interpreted, testifies of both a recent creation and worldwide flood. Bill served for 16 years at the ICR, assisting in field research, lab research, public speaking, and teaching in week-long field excursions. As adjunct professor, he’s taught creation evidences classes for several Christian colleges & seminaries, and also served as missionary for one year in an interior province of China.
