PEACE AND REST IN THE MIDST OF STORM
YKoinoniaGlobals must be greater than the happenings around you to have true peace. If the happenings around you become greater than your conviction, it will overwhelm you. If your peace is built on circumstances, the storm will always win.
Sometimes, it feels like the more you pray, the more silent God becomes. For example, Jesus Christ Himself was asleep in the boat while a storm nearly drowned His disciples, that’s not just a Bible story. That’s real life for many of us. The truth is that, faith is not always about obtaining the promise, faith is also standing in the fire and saying, “Even if He does not deliver me, I still believe.” A track record of consistency in the midst of fire is still faith.
Hebrews 11 reminds us of this faith that doesn’t just conquer kingdoms but endures flames. Some died still believing, yet the Bible says they obtained a good report — a report Heaven respects even more than earthly results. There is a justice system in Heaven. And if you genuinely believed, served, and trusted God, yet life still happened, there is a reward that awaits, both in time and in eternity. The ability to stand firm in the midst of fire is still victory.
