Only a handful of days after the assignment, our scions have completed a task that realistically could have been completed in a single day. But who’s keeping track of that? Certainly not the person being tortured until the labors are complete. But now, Shango is back and it’s time for the group to tackle the labor of the Loa: guarding The Baron’s mansion while the Loa and dead alike party. Having completed yet another labor, the band has taken off to Cleveland Clinic to claim a room for the Atzlánti and create a shrine to Tezcatlipoca. Simple enough, it seems, but as with everything else there are a few conditions that need to be met first; let’s just hope that they aren’t difficult conditions and there aren’t any strings attached to this job. After some much needed time off, our Scions are once again subjected to the pull of Fate as they’re drawn back into the world of myth to complete the labors set forth before them. Well, one of them, at least, as our band is throwing a massive party in Anville to complete Clint’s labor from Ganesha, god of luck. New friends abound and for once, no new enemies except for the gods they likely have angered by taking all this time to themselves of course, but what’s new?

With the dangers of Yomi behind them, the band has been instructed by none other than Shango himself to take some time to rest. They quickly make their way back to Damon’s farm and enjoy some well-deserved time to themselves, with Clint immediately being waylaid by two, or was it three, dryads, and Oliver has a chance to ask a question that has been plaguing him since the night he first met Lucas. Surely the gods won’t be upset with our scions for taking a bit of time off, and if they do, let’s hope Shango’s interference serves its purpose

The band left off in a tense situation with an old acquaintance and a new entity, perhaps a friend, perhaps… not. They walk a fine line to get their prize, with a single misstep likely leading to violence, and they manage to make it through safely at the cost of one small agreement. The band has received the second labor they are to perform as a group, and so they set off to Yomi, the Japanese underworld in search of the sword of Izanagi’s child. In order to do that, they need to figure out how to gain entrance, which is easier said than done, but our heroes won’t let a minor setback like not knowing where to go stop them.
