We recorded Pythagoras at Sweetbay Brewing Co in Abingdon Va and they put on a blistering set that will make you get off of your feet and dance like there is no tomorrow! If you love bluegrass you will definitely love these young folks from ETSU Old Time Music Program.
Pythagoras began in a sweltering college dorm room tucked in the mountains of East Tennessee. Their roots in traditional bluegrass blended with a fresh, contemporary edge bring listeners across genres and generations to their shows. The band features an international lineup of talented musicians, all now calling Johnson City, Tennessee, home: Grant Dresnok on guitar, Gracie Grossman on fiddle, Gabriel Hebert on banjo, Joe Henson on mandolin, and Lexi Wagnitz on bassSOHA Songwriters Round at Sweetbay Brewing in Abingdon, Va featuring Jeff Benedict (My New Favorites), Jon Bolt, Ryan Adkins & Peter Gagnon. River is 14 yrs old, plays the banjo and sings. River wrote "A Long Ways From A Preacher" which has a wonderful storyline.
Lucy 15yrs old she plays the fiddle, sings, and harmonizes.
