A lot can change in a year—and somehow, a lot stays exactly the same. After a full year away from the mic, Cody and Tyler are back to catch up on everything that’s happened. They talk about the new directions their farms are heading, what they’ve learned along the way, and what’s next for the podcast. Whether it’s new challenges, new opportunities, or the same old stories, it’s good to be back.

This week, we’re thrilled to have Tye Ward join us on the podcast for the first time! We’re diving into some exciting news: Joel Salatin, the self described Christian, libertarian, environmentalist, capitalist, lunatic farmer, author, and sustainable agriculture advocate, has accepted an advisory role with the incoming U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. Even bigger news Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie might be tapped for the top spot! If Massie steps into this role, it would be a monumental win for small farmers, consumers, and the fight for food freedom. With his strong support for liberty and sustainable agriculture, Massie could bring real, much-needed change to the department.
