First night in the tent and pad and bag is done. Damn birds. Good thing Birds Aren't Real^{TM}.

Notes to self: (1) silence notifications; (2) I reeeeally hope they've made progress on sleeping pads in the past 15 years or so.

After re-stringing the tent poles, I pitched the tent in the backyard last night. Got down to 34 Fahrenheit or so, and I figured it'd be a good night to test how well my old Boy Scout gear still works (and how well (or poorly) I fit in it all).
