Apple event talks are at peak now, especially the iPhone 12 series. The iPhone 12 line up is expected to have 4 models as iPhone 12, mini, iPhone 12 pro and Pro Max. We can expect the new pro series to start at 128GB as the base variant. So far leaks suggest that October 13 could be the launch date for the upcoming iPhone 12.

According to Jon Prosser, “Apple’s first shipment of final iPhone 12 units is going out to distributers on October 5th. The shipment includes: iPhone 12 mini (5.4 inch) and iPhone 12 (6.1 inch) with 64GB, 128 GB and 256GB storage variants. We can’t comment on 5G iPhone announcement, it may or may not be there. Jon Prosser has stated in past that the pre-orders for the upcoming iPhone 12 models will begin on October 16. This year we have four new iPhones to welcome instead of three as iPhone mini is a new addition. Apple stores are expected to have their iPhone devices stock on October 23.

The iPhone 12 series we are aware of so far, and it looks promising.

  • iPhone 12 mini {5.4 inch}
  • iPhone 12 {6.1 inch}
  • iPhone 12 Pro {6.1 inch}
  • iPhone 12 Pro Max {6.7 inch}
  • As I mentioned, a couple of days back that Foxconn the tech giant in china responsible for many major brands production lines, is pushing the production model to 24 hours operations with no holidays to meet with the tight deadlines. COVID 19 pandemic has caused a major delay in the production and supply chain.

    However, Apple seems to be confident enough to meet the requirements except for a few hiccups like delaying Apple Event and pushing it to October 2020.
