Apple recently announced the launch date of its first online store in India, 23rd of September, 2020. Now onwards, Indian consumers can make the purchase directly from Apple via www.apple.com/in and enjoy the benefits of many services & discounts they couldn’t avail before. Apple has also partnered with Blue Dart for logistic support to have strong on-ground fulfilment services.

It’s more than 20 years, Apple has been running its operations in India. The company’s investment and product distribution line through authorized sellers and e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart etc. have created almost 900, 000 jobs across the country. Apple currently has over 500 physical retail stores worldwide, not sure when India would have one. However, Apple has some major plans for India either moving their production line over here or launching their online store to reach out to customers directly with more benefits.

Apple India store is the 38th online store worldwide with some major advantages like trade-in program for new iPhone purchases, multiple financing options, customized Mac as we mentioned a couple of weeks back, exclusive 1:1 online session with Apple specialist regarding products, AppleCare+ etc… There would be special pricing for students for Mac or iPad and discounts on accessories and AppleCare+.

“We’re proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People. “We know our users are relying on technology to stay connected, engage in learning, and tap into their creativity, and by bringing the Apple Store online to India, we are offering our customers the very best of Apple at this important time.”

For the festive season, Apple has more to offer like signature gift wrap, personalized engraving for AirPods, iPad and Apple Pencil. In October, Apple is expected to organize Free Online “Today at Apple” sessions led by local creative pros, focused on photography and music.
