The basis of the believer’s hope is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just as surely as we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so we believe that those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. . . those who have died as Christians. . . will be raised and will participate in His coming.

A day is coming when those friends and loved ones will rise from the grave and always be with the Lord. . . a day when we will meet the object of our faith.

But what if the resurrection never happened? What if it is a myth?

Then all is lost.

However, the tomb was empty. . . Jesus Christ rose from the dead, conquering sin, death, and the devil.
