If you usuallylike to work in cafés and libraries, having to study at home might be difficult. Sohere are some ways to help you focus at home.
Follow a schedule
Having a clearplan for your day will help keep you from getting distracted. Try making alist of the things you want to get done each day and when you will do them tohelp you focus. But make sure you also plan breaks – the longer you gowithout a break, the worse you get at what you're doing. Some research hasfound that you should take a 17 minute break for every 52 minutes of work done.
Have a study area
Don't try tostudy in places you normally use to have fun or rest, like the couch orbed. Choose somewhere bright, and try to make it nice, maybe by addingsome plants. If you have an area that you only use for study, it'll beeasier to focus and you'll be able to take better breaks by leaving the areawhen you're not studying.
Get out of the house and exercise
Studies showthat exercise can help your brain work better. If you can, getting out inthe sun and fresh air isn't just a good way to take a break, but it's been shownto be good for your health and concentration too. If you can't leave thehouse, there are still plenty of ways you can get some exercise at home.
