April Progress Report: Chasing a 92 Average | The Mid-Range Swing

Listen Later

April is officially in the books, and it’s time to look at the data. In this "State of the Game" update, I’m breaking down my scoring average for the month and seeing if I’m actually on track to hit my season goal of a 92 average.

The Numbers:

April Scoring Average: 96.3

Season Starting Point: 98.4

The Goal: 92.0

The Lessons Learned:

The numbers are moving in the right direction. My decision to force myself to use my woods paid off in a big way—I’m finding a lot more confidence with those clubs from the fairway. My putting has also seen a significant jump in consistency.

However, the "grind" is real. I had to fight hard on several rounds to keep the scorecard respectable.

What’s inside:

✅A transparent look at my April stats.

✅The specific course struggles that impacted my average for April.

✅My plan to get closer to that 92 target.
