She knew at a very young age that she was meant to be an entrepreneur and she hasn't fallen short in proving that. In this episode, she shares insights into her path of entrepreneurship, including the time she turned down a job with Google to acquire a startup. As well, Carol shares what she looks for in a startup when investing and the legacy she wishes to leave behind.

Before Axonify, Carol worked with many startups including PostRank, RSS Solutions and Fakespace, growing them into multimillion-dollar businesses. In 2011, Carol won the Waterloo Region Intrepid Award for Entrepreneurship and, in 2012, she won the Fortune Brainstorm Tech Pitch Competition bringing Axonify worldwide recognition. Along with growing Axonify into an award-winning startup, she also writes articles for FORTUNE Magazine and was featured in Canadian Business in August 2015.
