This week's fish of the week comes from South America. It can be found swimming near Heros Severum cichlids, Festivum cichlids, Chocolate cichlids, pike cichlids, and discus. Speaking of Discus, this fish is often referred to as the ''Poor Man's'' Discus. It is a Cichlid that is beloved by many hobbyists.
This Week's Fish of the Week is the Uaru Cichlid! The Uaru Cichlid is a greenish brownish blotched cichlid that is mild mannered and works well in large community aquariums. It is infamous online because of the famous YouTuber and Fish Keeper Joey Mullen aka Uaru Joey aka the King of DIY!

Every tropical fish keeper is going to have a fish or 2 that they need to rehome! Various reasons exist why fish need to be rehomed. They can grow too big for their aquarium, they can be too aggressive for the other fish in the aquarium, or the fish keeper could simply just want something new in their home aquarium. This week's fish of the week is a fish that has a lot of personality, gorgeous coloration, interesting behavior, and grows to a decent size. This week's fish of the week is a large growing schooling fish that has a place in many aquarium hobbyists hearts. This fish hails from the rivers and tributaries of Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra and Indonesia. It is a member of the Loach family!
This week's fish of the week is the Clown Loach (Chromonotia Macracanthus).
The Clown Loach is a nice schooling fish that can be added to almost any freshwater aquarium and in a school provide aquarists plenty of entertainment as they swim up and down in a comical fashion!

This week's fish of the week is my 2nd saltwater fish that I am going to be discussing with all of you. Puffer fish are an incredibly personable fish that come in many shapes sizes and coloration. The saltwater puffer fish have a lot of personality and often become family pets.
July 18th fish of the week is the Dogface Puffer fish ( Arothron Nigropunctatus)!
The dogface puffer fish is also known as the black spot puffer. It has a gray body with black stripes and can have a yellow or white colored belly.
Dogface puffers are NOT reef safe, but they do make a wonderful addition to a FOWLR aquarium.
