قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

رُبَّ صَاءمٍ لَيسَ لَهُ مِنْ صِياَمِهِ إلَّا الْجُوعُ وَالْعَطَشْ، وَرُبَّ قَاءمٍ لَيسَ لَهُ مِنْ قِيَامِهِ إلَّا السَّهَرُ.

"There may be many fasting persons who has nothing from their fast except hunger and thirst, and there may be many fasting persons who has nothing from their standing in [prayer] except staying up late."

Thursday February 19, 2026 - First day of Ramadan 1447h.

When the first night of Ramadan comes, the gates of heaven are opened... Allah writes for him a thousand and five hundred good deeds for every prostration, and He builds for him a house in Paradise made of red ruby... Seventy thousand angels seek forgiveness for him from the morning prayer until sunset.
