Psalm 2 God is far from being threatened by the rebellion of the nations and is not doubting the outcome of any circumstance.

Matthew 8:23-9:8 Why did Jesus come and what is His mission? Three consecutive accounts from Matthew help us understand where Jesus is leading when He calls us to follow Him.

Matthew 1:18-25 There is no salvation found in anyone other than Jesus Christ, and those who call upon His name will be saved.

James 1:9-11 The "lowly faithful" are lifted up when they learn to see their trials as a part of God's sanctifying work in their lives.

1 John 1:5-2:6 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

James 1:5-7 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

James 1:2-4 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

James 1:1 Slides The author of the book of James is likely James, the brother of Jesus, a man who went from an unbelieving sibling to one of the leading pastors of the Jerusalem church.
