Arcade Hunters

In this episode we burn all of our bridges as we spout out our feelings on the arcade scene. We recorded this episode while checking in and watching Billy Mitchell go for a live, perfect Pac-Man score. We talk about video game personalities, what we have been up to, what gets our goat in the arcade community and so much more......and for the record, to achieve a perfect Pac-Man score (maximum amount of points possible) you have to set the game to start with 6 lives. You then have to play through, eat every pellet and fruit, eat 4 ghosts with every power pellet, not die, and get maximum possible points on level 256...

It's been a really, REALLY, long time since we recorded an episode, but here we are! We discuss recent changes in our lives, arcade gaming, some pinball, the usual banter. We also get to have live updates on new cabinets being installed at Nick's (not arcade, but kitchen cabinets)! We have a lot in store for this summer so be sure to check out the website and all of our social media platforms!

Nick is back from his trip to Chicago to share everything from deep dish to some of the best arcades in the midwest! We also discuss the crazy polar weather we've been having, Stern's new pinball, The Munsters and more this week. You can listen on the player below, or head over to iTunes or Stitcher and, hey while you're there why not give us a review!

This week we share how our holidays went before we jump into the best, worst kept secret, Stern's The Munsters pinball! We talk about the multiple play fields, some of our favorite aspects of The Munsters, and more pinball goodness in this weeks episode.

This week Nick reports back from The Beatles Beatlemania Pinball event held at Modern Pinball in NYC! But, before we get to that, the gang talk about their Thanksgivings, some of their favorite holiday specials, and people of Long Island in this weeks episode.

This week we provide the ultimate combo episode! First we discuss how our Halloween evenings went, what we like to do for Thanksgiving, and we ask the eternal question; do you March of the Wooden Soldiers? Then we jump into the recently announced Beatles pinball table by Stern. We dive deep and discuss the issue of reskinning Sea Witch, the era choice, and the pricing. All this and more in this week's episode.

We have a special episode of the Arcade Hunters Podcast just in time for Halloween! In this episode Nick shares his thoughts and insights on the new Deadpool pinball table by Stern while his partner in crime shares his cold! All this plus some Halloween arcade memories and other nonsense in this extra episode!

In this special podcast we discuss some recent pinball news, a trip to the American Classic Arcade Museum at Funspot, the Shocker electric chair arcade amusement and its variants over the years plus other random spooky arcade shenanigans!

This week we discuss some of our favorite arcade games to play during the summer along with some of our favorite summer past times. Everything from boardwalk arcades to alpine slides and fireworks are discussed in this weeks episode. We talk about standing shoulder to shoulder, button mashing our way through the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game for the first time, Disney World arcades, beaches, pinball... summertime Arcade Hunters style! Click the player below or listen to us over at iTunes as we wind down the summer and usher in the fall.

This week we discuss a recent visit to the boardwalk arcades over at Weirs Beach and how they have changed over the past 15 years. We also discuss the recently announced new Stern pinball game Deadpool. Of course, some Disney park stuff manages to creep its way into the discussion along with some more arcade goodness in this weeks episode!
