Archbishop Benson Andrew Idahosa (September 11, 1938 – March 12, 1998), was renowned African Preacher and widely travelled Evangelist.
He is the founder of Church of God Mission International as well as Benson Idahosa University (BIU) in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.
He was commissioned into ministry in 1971 by Pa Elton and Gordon Lindsey and was ordained a Bishop in 1981.
Idahosa died on the 12th of March 1998 at the age of 59. He was survived by his wife, Margaret Idahosa and four children (FEB, Ruth, Daisy and Freda).
