Why do we need innovation in cities? Why is it important to have a collaborative approach between the public administration and the business sector? Why do we need collaborative and active urban ecosystems in order to boost innovation and sustainable & SMART Cities? How will the businesses be affected after Covid-19? Do we need another approach on business, more nature based and more responsible?

About this questions and other topics related with business and innovation in cities we will discuss with our friends and DO-ers, former Urban Talks speakers or UrbanizeHub contributors, people active in cool projects which are shaping the cities in a sustainable way: Karl McFaul (The Modern Group TMG AB), Claudiu Vrinceanu (VP Connections), Clara Volintiru (Academia de Stiinte Economice) and #UrbanTalks host Colin Fernando Alvarez Whitfield.

How did we get here? What are the steps going forward for urban governance? How can the business sector can getter better involved? What can we learn as citizens from this experience and hence do better?

All these difficult and important questions will be our focus for the conversation that we had together with Grațian Mihăilescu, Colin Whitfield and Alex Glod.

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought many structural problems regarding the design of our cities, our relationship with the environment, our health care, and educational systems, the involvement of the private sector, as well as our participation as citizens in the future of our cities.

This conversation will be the first of many more debates with experts and industry insiders where we will do our best to look at what are our best options moving forward, how we can take advantage of these changing times and how we can empower different stakeholders in the process.

Do you think we need to come together more than ever? Wondering how to get started?
