The half-full gospel: a faith in Christ without the personal presence of the Spirit.

You repent of your sins, believe in Jesus, and commit to following him. With wind in your sails, you start fighting the good fight through things like scripture memory and preaching the gospel to yourself. What started out as a salvation through faith by grace turns into salvation through personal discipline. Your soul starts to ask, "Is this it?"
