Thomas Martin thinks traders are starting to look for protection as fears of an AI bubble grow; however, the market is still being driven by AI. The rest of the economy is looking “not super,” he adds, but still have a “solid underpinning.” He anticipates more rate cuts from the Fed this year but thinks the odds of a 50-point cut are low. Thomas also talks about the 3Q earnings season and if we should expect to see strong results.
