Enter Koisuru Asteroid (Asteroid In Love), a more recent entry into the catalogue that brings with it a heaping pile of ambition crammed into just one cour of televised anime. We discuss its depictions of found family, on-screen homosexual activity, alcoholism and the rare case of the 'slice of life anime-original filler ending'; and long story short, when Mallory compares something to Hidamari Sketch this often - and Ranka compares it to, sigh, Slow Start - its reason for obscurity is probably not a quality issue.
