The Aligarh Muslim University on 12th of Oct issued notices to 9 Kashmiri students for allegedly trying to conduct funeral prayers on the campus following the death of PhD scholar-turned-militant Mannan Bashir Wani in North Kashmir.Later, internal security guard used mild force to disperse the crowd. Later 3 Kashmiri students of AMU were booked on sedition charges for allegedly for raising "anti-India" slogans. And one should always remember, in a democracy like India, citizens including students do have rights to lodge their disagreements against any issue.. but performing funeral of an alleged terrorist, and mainly within the campus just because he belongs to their same community this is Sad.
