Black People in suburban neighborhoods are often times complacent, they believe they've reached a level of eliteness and superiority in comparison to black people in poverty stricken communities. We discussed and compared the suburban black people, to black people in poverty stricken communities, and how their mindset towards the black race as a whole can either be positive or negative. The complacent mindset of suburban black people poses a real threat for the progression of the black community as a whole, so we dissected that and addressed what can be done to fix that. We also had a heated discussion about classism and materialism at the end.
