Pierre Trudeau legislated the Multiculturalism Act to allow Canadians to practice their religions and keep their identities without fear of official persecution. But is Canada now in danger of losing its identity? Justin Trudeau proudly declared that Canada has no “core identity”. Is this a good thing? A recent Leger poll shows that over 78% of Canadians are concerned about how a conflict thousands of miles away is impacting communities here in Canada.
