This week's title is "Are We Due An Apology?" I must pose the question, are we, those of us who have left our interracial churches under our white pastors and leadership, and even those who have remained in these churches, are we owed or due an apology? But some would query, why should anyone apologize to us when we were the ones to make the decisions to leave? Well, first of all because most of us left because of offense. But please understand, we were not just slightly offended but literally insulted and injured beyond just mere anger to the degree of being hurt and wounded through racism without concern or comment from our white pastors and leadership.
