Are You Doing the Will of the Father? | Serving God According to His Direction
When you serve God, are you doing it with Him, or merely for Him? Jesus warned in Matthew 7:21–23 that not everyone who calls Him “Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do the will of the Father. Many will point to their good works, preaching, miracles, acts of service but hear the sobering words, “I never knew you.”
True service begins not with action, but with fellowship. God desires for you to enter the Most Holy Place, to meet with Him and hear His speaking. As Exodus 25:22 reveals, “There I will meet with you, and I will speak with you.” From that place of communion, your service becomes one with God’s will, not just good works, but divine works done together with Him.
