Leaders must be flexible and pliable.  Guidance that motivates one person can completely decimate another.  Your LEADERSHIP style must conform to the situation and the individual.  Recently I spoke with a student and I knew a "RAH RAH... you can do it!" speech wansn't going to cut it.  So I decided to be brutally honest and tell her the truth... guess what?  It worked! Some need to be coddled while others need to be prodded.  Great news is she took my advice and she's testing next Tuesday!😁
