Would you say that you're happy at work? If you answered "no", what do you think the reason is? Is it that you feel overworked or underpaid?
We can all relate to that, can't we? At times, we've probably felt that we deserve a little more pay or a few more personal days.
But if you really want to be unhappy at work, compare your wages to what others make. It is almost impossible to do an unbiased assessment of what you deserve and what you think a fellow employee deserves.
But this is exactly what Jesus does in Matthew 20. Of course, Jesus isn't talking about fair wages for vineyard workers, He is teaching about working in God's kingdom.
This weekend at CrossWalk Church we are continuing our message series entitled, "The Kingdom". In this series we are unlocking the parables of Jesus. And this week Jesus tells a story about people at work. And much like many workers today, no one in God's vineyard felt that they were getting what they deserved. As a matter of fact Jesus makes it clear that God doesn't give any of us what we deserves, he give us MORE.
We hope you can join us as we experience what it is like to have a generous boss and to be valued by your employer. Experience what it is like to work in God's Kingdom.

We lift praises to God, for who he is and what he has done. God gives us breath, we are his creation, so we give him our praise- creation worshiping our creator.
