I can tell you the week(s) leading up to my transplant were filled with anticipatory anxiety. I just learned that that is an actual thing. Anyway, today, we talk about what the morning of the transplant surgery and everything that I experienced before I got my brand new used kidney!

I'm back! And after some soul searching... and procrastinating, I've come up with a plan! 

The story of how I met my boyfriend, my kidney donor, my hero, my husband, and the love of my life.. In that order... probably. 

EDIT: I said that our anniversary was tomorrow but when this is posted it will have already passed... doh! Our anniversary is the 27th of September :) 

After an unplanned sabbatical, I'm back! Urging you all to donate your organs... ALL OF THEM!
