In this episode, we’re walking through 1 Thessalonians 2:13–16 and asking some honest questions about what it really means to believe the Word of God. Paul thanks the believers not just because they heard the message, but because they accepted it as what it truly is.

We talk about gratitude that isn’t tied to comfort, the difference between hearing and actually believing, and how real faith will eventually cost you something. If God’s Word is truly alive and active, it shouldn’t leave us unchanged.

Reflection Questions:

1. Is my gratitude rooted in my circumstances, or in my salvation?

2. Has my time in Scripture actually changed the way I live?

3. Am I silent about my faith because I’m loving -- or because I’m afraid?

Are we just listening…or are we letting it work actively in us?
