In this episode, we walk through 2 Thessalonians 2:5–12, a passage that points to the reality of deception, lawlessness, and God’s ultimate authority over it all. While parts of the end times can feel unknown or hard to understand, the Bible makes clear what we need to know.
Paul writes with the heart of a spiritual father, urging believers not to be confused or deceived. As we unpack this, we’re reminded that God is not surprised by anything happening in the world. Everything unfolds in His perfect timing, and even in the presence of evil, He remains fully in control and fully good.
This episode is both a warning and an invite: to be people who love truth, walk in discernment, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus above all else.
Reflection Questions:
1. Do I really love the truth — even when it’s uncomfortable or challenges me?
2. What voices or influences in my life are shaping what I believe— and are they pointing me TO Jesus?
3. Is Jesus truly the Lord of my life, or am I still trying to be the one in control?
