Sis!! Listen up please, you could be missing opportunities for God to work in and through you.
Yes, He works all things out for our good!
It is also true that He plants seeds and we get to chose to be in action for them.
He gives you the gifts, the unique purpose and in His love and character, He also gives you the power to chose it, or not.
So let me ask you, do you turn to Him for all things or do you go to Him for some things or just some of the time?
Do you find yourself turning to food instead of God?
Do you find yourself turning to business, striving and doing (even for good, even with the best of intentions) instead of surrendering and going to God when you are anxious or even celebrating?
Do you find yourself looking for affirmation in a relationship or the opinions of others instead of God?
I get it. I've been there.
And I now know all of the moments when I turned to something other than God...
I missed the opportunity for Him to fill my need, provide the discernment or wisdom or love or comfort or even the clarity for the next step and the opportunity to grow deeper in my relationship with Him.
Yes, I am GRATEFUL for my walk with Him.
Grateful for all the work He's done in and through me.
He has 100% worked it all out for my good and continues to!! AMEN!
But how much longer did it take me because of missed opportunities to go to Him along the way?
And how much can I be of help to you, in your walk, if I can encourage you to be aware and don't miss the opportunities He's placed on your path.
