Are you "too busy" or are you being productive?

Hello and welcome to this week's episode of the Igniting Your Health Podcast!

This week’s episode is all about distinguishing between being “too busy” and being productive.

In my many years of working with clients in the healthcare settings, and in my everyday world, I hear a lot of women and moms alike talk about how busy they are … how those to-do lists never seen to end.
Then you're left feeling like you're always stressed out, rushing from one thing to another and not really taking the mornings in stride, doing 1 thing at a time … rather you're trying to do all the things in the same amount of time.

That’s when you realize that being “busy” only causes you to be more stressed.
Because when you stress yourself to the point of not having enough time, you’re making yourself feel like you’re behind and you can’t get what you have to do done.


Instead of telling yourself that you don’t have the time or that you're too busy, start to telling yourself that some things are just not a priority for you at this time of day.

Because by saying this, you get the feeling that you're taking control of what’s right in front of you.
And you're putting attention on what’s most important for you at that moment in time.

So, by taking control of your priorities, it makes you feel like you have more time in my day.
