ARG Presents

Greetings everyone and welcome to ARG 161!  This time out, we dust off our keyboards and do some coding...well sorta!  It's TYPE-IN GAMES this week!  That means Amigo Aaron and THE BRENT are typing games into a computer and playing them..it's that simple!  Join us on a trip back in time, with the help of Rainbow Magazine, and type and play 'Gopher' It! and Gopher Smash!

This week on ARG Presents, we take a look at cartridge games for the Commodore 64!  Who knew there were HUNDREDS of not only game carts, but utilities, hardware, and more!?  We'll lament the rise and fall of cartridge slots on home computers, and the we dive right in with our picks.  This week, Amigo Aaron tries out Activision's Pastfinder and THE BRENT goes hunting with Dragonden!

Welcome to BIG episode 159!  This time out..it's madness...ROBOT MADNESS!   The ARG gang is playing games with a robot theme this week, and MARVEL as they AGREE ON THINGS!  Yes, that happened!  Enjoy our look at Atari's arcade standout Cyberball 2072 and the Atari Computer game Mr. Robot and His Robot Factory!

ARG 155 is going to the birds, LITERALLY!  It's Games with Birds week, and we're lining our nests here with two great(ish) bird related titles!  First, check out the quirky hummingbird simulator on the Sega 32X with Kolibri, then it's straight to Duckberg with Disney's DuckTales for the Nintendo NES!

It's WAR this week on ARG Presents as we go head to head and SKULL TO SKULL!  It's time to pick sides as we debate that eternal question, GAME BOY COLOR or NEOGEO POCKET COLOR!

Are you ready to laugh?!  Well, that might be a problem, but we give it a shot this week on ARG Presents when we look at FUNNY GAMES.  These are games designed to tickle the ol' funny bone!  Sometimes they pull it off and sometimes they lay a big comedy egg!  We'll be checking out two such games, as we look at Gex on the 3DO and Battle Chess on the Commodore Amiga!
