Based in NW Ohio, the Ariel Kasler Quintet performs original jazz compositions and arrangements influenced by Middle Eastern, Jewish, and Israeli music. While each musician in the ensemble contributes a highly individualistic voice, years of collaboration amongst ensemble members create a coherent group sound.

Featuring Olman Piedra on Drums, Jeff Halsey on Bass, Ariel Kasler on Guitar and Piano, and Andrew Bishop and David Bixler on saxophones, and from a February 18th, 2022 performance, it’s the Ariel Kasler Quintet – Live at the Bop Stop.

Live at the Bop Stop is made possible by the Music Settlement – serving Northeast Ohio by offering music instruction – music therapy and early childhood education since 1912. The Music Settlement’s mission is to welcome all to our music and arts community to learn – create – inspire – and heal.

 

This program is recorded at the Robert Conrad Studios at the Bop Stop in Cleveland, Ohio and the studios of KUNV in Las Vegas, Nevada.
