Today we celebrate our RISEN Savior! He is risen. We'll investigate what actually happened that first mysterious Easter morning - where was Jesus' body? What do you believe about the empty tomb? Jesus said this to his friend, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Today is Palm Sunday, marking the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Jesus' life here on Earth. Crowds of people lined the streets waving palm branches and calling out "Hosanna!" as Jesus rode into Jerusalem more than 2000 years ago. They went from treating Jesus like a king to condemning Him to die in a matter of days. What can we learn from this flip--flopping crowd? How will we recieve Him today?

Today is our Family Celebration Service, acknowldeging child dedications in our congregation. Dedication is for parents to publicly commit themselves to raising their child for God, and we, as their church family, join them in praying for their children, awaiting the day they make their own decision to follow Jesus.
