Today we focus on back to school. I know, hard to believe how quickly summer has gone, but none the less, it is time to prepare for the school year routine. Children and youth today face many challenges. How can we prepare our kids in a secular world? We'll get a glimpse today of what life is like in the public schools and what we can do to give our kids the solid foundation they so desperately need to thrive in today's culture. For every follower of Jesus, sometimes we run out of gas and come to a place where we feel comfy, cozy and complacent with where we are spiritually. But there really is no such thing as a "coasting Christian".

There are endless things we can worry about: family, health, finances, the state of our nation. When our concern with these things becomes consuming worry, it is a sin that keeps us from trusting the promises and power of God!

Are we ready to stop the strangle-hold of worry and allow the Truth of God's Word to change our thinking?
